	It is generally recommended that one checks his/her credit report each year.  In Canada, an individual’s report can be obtained from each of two companies.  These reports can be obtained over the internet for a fee, or a free copy of your report will be delivered via mail.  Check out the web sites or call for information required when requesting a credit report.
